Ocean lovers might want to point their sextent in the direction of Zanzibar with opening of Africas underwater room off Pemba Island , a Fertile tract that produces nearly three- quarters of the world cloves and offshore , popular with divers

Joining a list of other experimental under-the sea hotel rooms in florida , sweden and Maldives The underwater ROOM at Manta Resort in Tanzania Zanzibar Archipelago immerses guests 4m below the surface

The rooms sits on bottom of three floating structure , located 250m from shore in Indian Ocean . Above and below each of rooms eight windows , sportlight illuminate the sea life that swims by.Frequent Visitors  include fish known as Nick AS well as aquid and octopus at night .

The floating structure was designed by swedish artist Michael Genberg , who also construrally similar Utter Inn in swedens lake Malaren, For this project he sought a more remote  location with clearer waters and found it off Pemba COAST in form the blue hole a circular clearing within the coral reef m,easuring about 50 m in diameter

The room officially opened for guest on 1 november 2013 . set in blue Hole  an irregularity in coral reef Manta Resolt unusually located 17th room is about 250 meters offshore at 12 meters deep and surroundes by large coral heads

The resolt managing Director Mathew Saus says AWe has been a common reaction of the happening around the underwater room from the six guests who have stayed so far.
